Please share your experiences with us.  Did you do anything different with these individuals compared to a non-military employee?  What worked well for you and what didn’t?  What recommendations would you make for other managers who are considering hiring a transitioned military officer?

I'm really just an Oficer in my VFW Post. I try to help veterans and spend a great deal of time at the hospital for my own disabilities.. I try to be ready to advise about benefits for them and steer them in the right direction. When I saw your site I felt I could learn some valuable information for myself to pass on.
